Now We Are Six

Curvaceous Dee, the blog, is six years old today!

Continuing in the fine celebratory tradition of this site , I have made myself into a cake. Why not? Year one was celebrated with a hat-pin (scratched by Adonis), year two with liquid latex (poured by Adonis and Medea), year three with safe sex accoutrements (arranged by Adonis), year four with needles (thanks to FM, Hylas and Kiana), and year five with sugary goodness (yay for SapioSlut!).

Fabulous Five!

Curvaceous Dee turns five today! And a fabulous five it is – with candy and sugar and chocolate and naked flesh

Getting through year five was not the easiest – while many blogs don’t live this long, those that do, sex blogs in particular, often undergo a metamorphosis. This blog  has been no exception. While I graduated to my own, self-hosted, site, all things sexy somewhat diminished.

Four times around the curves

Curvaceous Dee, the blog, is officially four years old today – which pleases me no end!

On January 1st 2006 I sat down and set up a blog on blogspot, with a basic template and no pretty header (that got fixed, and I loved the one I used for the next three years). Once I’d started I had no intention of stopping! With the exception of a three-month pause at the beginning of 2007, I just kept on writing, and photographing, and posting. And you all kept reading, and commenting. You enablers you!

Three years of curvaceousness!

Today marks the third anniversary of Curvaceous Dee – and it’s been a roller-coaster ride!

On the first of January 2006 I got started with a bang, definitely as I intended to go on. I don’t really go in for New Years resolutions, but I’d been planning to start my site for some time, and Jan 1st seemed a good day to go for it, so go for it I did. Initially Apollo was the only person who knew about my writing, but I quickly gathered readers, and gradually told friends and lovers about it as well.

Two Years of Curvacity

On New Years Day 2006, I had just one resolution – to start my own sex blog. I’d been reading and admiring others’ for quite some time, but I thought January 1st was an appropriate day to begin my own! Rather than opening with an introductory post, I instead started with a bang, managing to combine an intense BDSM session with my love of Apollo (I did finally introduce myself few days later – because otherwise it’s just rude!)

Birthday cake

Well, it’s actually been a few months since the one year anniversary of this blog, but Adonis and I still thought it was worth celebrating. Hence – a birthday cake for Curvaceous Dee.
