Do you love your body? Far too many people don’t – so when Express Magazine asked me to write about body love – at every size – for their recent fashion issue, I was delighted to do so.

Scavenging
Something I’ve very much enjoyed participating in over the last year or so is the (Exhibitionist) Scavenger Hunt, which was created by SapioSlut. As mentioned last week, they’ve had to shut their site down for a while, due to a hacker attack outing them to friends and family. Not good!
Happily, I am able to provide a home for the Scavenger Hunt until they return – and you’re all very welcome to start participating, continue participating, share the possibility of participating, etc. Get those clothes off and those cameras out!

Paint on the beach
The sun beats hot and sultry upon my purple skin. As I caper delightedly across the sand, sharing the joy of loving your body – and loving mine as well – I revel at being out in public wearing naught but paint and accessories.
What do they see? A goddess? Rolls of fat that disgust them? An amazing parasol shading a vision? A body that’s not normally expressed? Positive or negative or something in-between?

Saturday – Love Your Body Day – was a day of awesome!
It started with waking up at dark o’clock, quickly followed by Hylas and I sitting on our arses outside the Ruby Jack Studio in Grey Lynn at 6:50am, waiting for everyone else to show up.

Love Your Body
I think you all know by now that I love my body – but do you love yours?
October is Love Your Body month, and tomorrow (October 16), is Love Your Body day! This is run by EDEN – the Eating Difficulties Education Network – and is a very awesome thing
Why am I writing about this? Well, tomorrow, for Love Your Body day, there’s going to be three local women body-painted, then taking to the streets of Auckland. And one of those women is me!
