Fat Dee is Fat
Trollish backstory
Last week this blog saw its first ever troll (I have no idea what took them so long, really!). The reaction from readers was swift, hilarious, and awesome.
Here’s how it started – ‘Jesus’ commented with the following:

Four times around the curves
Curvaceous Dee, the blog, is officially four years old today – which pleases me no end!
On January 1st 2006 I sat down and set up a blog on blogspot, with a basic template and no pretty header (that got fixed, and I loved the one I used for the next three years). Once I’d started I had no intention of stopping! With the exception of a three-month pause at the beginning of 2007, I just kept on writing, and photographing, and posting. And you all kept reading, and commenting. You enablers you!

So, what IS a Vampire Flopper?
I’ve know I’ve been keeping you in suspense, but since so many of you took the time to enter my competitions (thank you, each and every one of you), it’s now time to actually let you in on what a Vampire Flopper is, and why it caught my attention.

Competition winners!
Yes, the Vampire Flopper competition is closed, the entries read, the votes tallied, and the winners contacted. I had a bloody wonderful time over the past 10 days, and thoroughly enjoyed the various entries as they came in! I hope you all, in turn, enjoyed the various vamp-oriented posts as I pimped the competition to all and sundry.

So here’s something I’ve never done before – held a competition on this blog! Two, in fact – so read on, email me, and perhaps you’ll win
But why?Why am I holding a competition? Because the other week, when Adonis and I were randomly looking through shops, we came across a very strange product – a Vampire Flopper. Yep. Weird, huh?

Dee-sexy
So twice in the last week I’ve received the delicious, delectable, dee-groovy, Dee-sexy award. Many thanks to Viemoira and Diana both – it made my day each time!
According to both post, this award comes with a catch – aside from reposting it, that is. I need to list 5 sexy things about myself, and then pass it on to 4 different people.

Three years of curvaceousness!
Today marks the third anniversary of Curvaceous Dee – and it’s been a roller-coaster ride!
On the first of January 2006 I got started with a bang, definitely as I intended to go on. I don’t really go in for New Years resolutions, but I’d been planning to start my site for some time, and Jan 1st seemed a good day to go for it, so go for it I did. Initially Apollo was the only person who knew about my writing, but I quickly gathered readers, and gradually told friends and lovers about it as well.

Statistical Deviants
Okay, so I’m still absolutely thrilled to have been named in the Top 100 Sexy Bloggers of 2008 (although the squeeing has settled down a little)! Still, it’s been on my mind, and I got to thinking about a few things.
NumbersIn a list of 100 names, you anticipate some variety – and this lovely list is no exception.

Rebuttal
I really enjoy reading Luka‘s blog. Her sarcasm, doggerel, and fearlessness all amuse me, and we have great conversations together. Which is not to say that we always see eye-to-eye. In a recent post, Luka outlined why she will never be a sex blogger (all of which are fair and valid points, for her). But me? I love being a sex blogger. And here are some of the reasons why.
