Familiarity breeds contentment
Sunday night. Finally home from holiday. Worn out from driving, travelling, and socialising, Apollo and I fell onto our own bed with a sigh of pleasure. The familiar was new again, and that much more appreciated for having gone without.
Fresh sheets of black were pulled taught over our lovely firm mattress, in sharp contrast to the motel-white, motel-soft mattresses we had been sleeping and fucking on for the previous ten days. Our duvet was wrapped in a fresh familiar cover, topped with matching pillows, and there was nary a motel-bedspread in sight. At the end of the bed we could see ourselves reflected off the mirror, soft light from the salt-lamp shadowing my curves and his hardness.
