Call Me Luchador

Posted on | October 31, 2012 | 10 Comments |

The day has rolled around, so The Luchador comes calling
With red and silver mask, showing cleavage to distract.
No matter who the foes, she’ll beat them in the brawling
And then it’s on to you, her vengeance to exact.

You’ve had a year to plan, and fighters lined up ready
Hulk has the first swing, but The Luchador takes them down!
Bear moves in for a hug, so she gets in close with teddy
But he finds it a stiff battle and he’s quickly on the ground.

One by one they fall. There’s no mercy from this creature
Her anger’s all for you but she’ll fight them just the same
Soon there’ll be no fighters left. Just her, you and the preacher
Will prayers work when the fighting ends in Luchador acclaim?

Prayers worked even less than wrestling – she chopped him up in pieces
Now the preacher’s in the graveyard with the ghosts to hear him cry.
You’re hiding, running, hiding but it won’t get you your releases
The Luchador will find you, then it’ll be your time to die.

You should have known better, to think that you could cheat her
You should have known better, to think that you could win.
You didn’t get away with it, stealing funds by transfer
You didn’t get away with it, giving her a mickey finn.

In the last fight of that night, The Luchador went down hard
And never got back up – there was no breath.
But your dreams have been full of horror and your spending has been marred
And now, The Luchador comes determined for your death.

I love how the pictures get progressively darker. You have such expressive eyes and it gets downright evil here *delightful shiver*

Feeling a bit sorry for the teddy here! Scary pictures! And as the others say, the last image is amazingly atmospheric!

Such a fun and in the end, ‘scary’ entry 😉

That last one definitely looks like something from a freaky movie.

Brilliant Dee – the verse and the images. I never imagined there was a Mexican fighter in you – but when the mask covers that giggly grin of yours and the eye stares out !! wholly convincing :)

I agree with Kazi; I love the progression of your images and words, culminating at the last dark, shadowy one, so wicked!

Amazing photos. I’m usually a lot more cool and composed but after viewing them, I find myself wanting to beg you to knock me to the floor and sit on my face.

Very pretty, but still my story will have to read:

“Sorry, boys, you will never fill this Kraken!”

    Kazi – Noooo, I don’t do evil. Do I?

Molly – Very occasionally, I will actually use Photoshop for more than just brightness/contrast and resizing :)

CuriousMuse – Hylas coped with it remarkably well, all things considered (actually, I think he was pretty wiped out from the heat inside all that fur!)

    Rebel – Thank you!

Inferno – And yet it was just me playing with the camera, and later with Photoshop :)

Clive – You better believe I’m a battler … *grrrr*

Penny – Thank you – I think I spent even longer on the verses than I did fiddling with the pictures, but I was very pleased with the end result.

Ken – Well, that’s what a wrestler does – and I am quite the fan of sitting on faces!

Carol Anne – *chuckles* What a good thing we are both able to write our own stories :)

    xx Dee
