Well-Constructed

We were on the hunt for graffiti to take photographs in front of (and I’m still hunting, weeks later. The Auckland council has really cracked down!). And while we didn’t find any – the spot Kiana knew about had been painted over – we did notice a great construction site instead:
Duelling cranes, anyone?
They’d closed the street to vehicles, but not to pedestrians, so we had a good wander around the site. And there was an excellent nook practically beneath where one of the cranes was getting busy.
Normally it’s the entrance to an underground car-park. The park itself was closed, and to the right of it was blocked off to anyone but construction workers, but that nook? Entirely safe for pedestrians – and just out of view of the crane driver (didn’t want to cause an accident, now …)
You know what comes next!
Colour me quite pleased by this shot. So pleased that I took my time, took my top off, and we got an even better one:
Hylas had fun taking voyeuristic photos through the pillars, I think. Works for me

Next week – do you want to see the office, escalator, elevator, petrol station, or fast food flash? Let me know your preference in the comments!

Oooo, love it!! You take advantage of opportunity like no one’s business
Oh, show the escalator next! I want to see how you pulled that off

Haha, brilliant! I bet the risk of being caught made it all the more fun

oo oo oo…I have a construction site to post that we found in Greece. I just need to edit the images. These are brilliant. Don’t you just love Scavenger Hunting?

Brilliant shots again, and I know for the next couple of weeks I will be looking out for some constructions sites, although public can barely come close to them
but I will try!
I am with Kazi… escalator next

These shots DO have a very voyeuristic feel to them! Great work Hylas! We love the third shot, but the fourth trumps it slightly as the sight of you completely topless – as well as the confidence you project here – is very appealing.
Add our vote to the escalator!

I really like the way you hold your head high in that last pic. I’d like to vote for the fast food flash.

I always love your photos so much! That Scavenger Hunt business looks like so much fun. If I had someone I knew I could count on to take pics for me, I would totally do it. Roland has turned me down every time I’ve asked. :/
I’m going to throw in another vote for escalator!!

Kazi – You’re one to talk – you see opportunities all over the place!
Ariel – It certainly ups the ante
Molly – I really do. I can’t wait to see your images!
Rebel – I was delighted to be able to come as close to this one as we did – I hope you find something too!
Jack and Jill – Looks like the escalator is going to be next …
Wayne – I was next to the construction, not actually in the zone. So technically no hard hat required!
Mia – He did take completely fantastic photos, didn’t he?
Lola – Escalator it is!
Penny – I have had a lot of practice by now …
Starr – Why thank you
The fast food flash will have to wait (although I am very proud of it). Soon, though.
Tonya – Plenty of people take their Scavenger Hunt pics solo. Kazi has done nearly all of hers that way, you know.
Naughty Tashamber – Coming right up!
xx Dee
