Playing in the Queen’s Garden

I may live in a Commonwealth country, but I’m all about the self-determination. So when I found myself in the Queen of Heart’s garden at Larnach Castle, naturally I was going to show my independent streak! (I think Alice was quite impressed, don’t you?)

(The next morning Apollo and I walked past the garden and it was all dreamy and mist-covered. I just needed to take another photo to show how different it could be, a mere 18 hours apart.)

Why yes, I am very pleased with myself. So pleased I think I’ll sit on the throne for a bit, if you don’t mind. Just to feel the power for a few minutes. But I’d far rather give head than take it off – does that make me a better monarch?

This is the last of my saucy photos from my Dunedin holiday with Apollo – we did have a wonderful time!

    Excellent post! The final shot, of you on the throne, is excellent and radiant, and anyone who’d rather give head than chop it off has our vote – not that you vote for a monarch. :)

    Kazi – Apparently the throne is the most photographed thing in the Larnach gardens, after the ducks!

    Ellsie – You do say the loveliest things!

    Tonya – And that was a challenge – set the camera, run to the spot, whip the top off, all in under 10 seconds. It’s quite the work out :)
