Big Cats Come Together

Continuing our Wild World special on the Big Cat Mating Ritual of New Zealand, the Tall Golden Furred Tiger has expressed his interest in the Big Arsed White Bellied Tiger, and had that interest returned. They have touched faces, and she has bared her belly – a sure sign of approval and a prelude to the mating itself.
Now the Golden Furred Tiger is purring gently as she grooms him. The claws of the White Bellied Tiger can be vicious, but she continues to show her approval – she how she has pulled his head to her belly.
How lucky we are to be able to see the actual moments of mating between the two tigers! Notice how the Golden Furred Tiger keeps his own claws sheathed. See how the White Bellied Tiger bares her teeth but does not bite. Their growling is very loud, but it is not in anger, but rather of passion and energy.
At the climax of the mating, her growls of pleasure increase, and can clearly be heard from quite a distance away. She lifts her big arse – part of her name – higher, allowing him to touch her belly fur as he reaches his own climax. As they both collapse, it is obvious that she is pleased with his performance today.
A successful mating completed, both the big cats head to the local watering hole to slake their thirsts. Their growls and climaxes, evidence of their enjoyment, also show how much the mating has taken out of them, and both the Golden Furred and the White Bellied Tiger drink deeply.
Playful and curious, the White Bellied Tiger wants to know what her mate is drinking. Will he share with her, having shared so much else?
We leave these two Tigers – sated, kittenish, and full of vigour – to their play. While of different sub-species, they’ve made a good match, and the toothy grin on the Big Arsed White Bellied Tiger is testament to their pleasure.

What a fun and adorable set of photographs. I’m very fond of all of these and the words accompanying them. My personal fave is the first with the water bowls; the symmetry of pose is sweet.
