Intriguing reading #7
Since Google Reader torpedoed my shared links and I refuse to use G+, I do a regular roundup of worthy reading instead.
(There are two weeks worth in this post – it was Giftmas last week, and I was away!)
The Future: Where Sexual Orientations Get Kind of Confusing: “Instead of having the same fight for rights and acceptance over and over, it would be better to use the idea of informed consent to make a consistent definition to distinguish ethically permissible sexual orientations from harmful sexual orientation disorders. Heterosexuality doesn’t quite seem to capture the sexual orientation of a human who is attracted to an artificial intelligence construct. But to say, “I’m a heterosexual xenosexual” tells you that I like non-humans of the opposite gender of me (if the A.I.’s in fact come with genders).” (Kyle Munkittrick / Discover Magazine)

Dee-licious Donuts
When you’re at a kinky public play party and there are donuts (delivered by a luscious Leela), and someone wants to smash them into your face – surely it’s the done thing to be very enthusiastic about such a thing? And to offer up not only face, but also breasts, belly, and thighs up to the chocolatety goodness?
And then when others want to lick those donuts off you, to encourage them to make the most of the feast?

Dee’s birthday story
It’s my birthday, and I have received many wonderful gifts from many wonderful lovers today. But my owner and m’Lady, Tethys, has given me a very precious present: a story zie has written herself, read out and recorded for me to hear in hir own voice.
I am delighted and honoured that zie is willing for me to share the text of that story with you all. I hope you find it as arousing as I do. Enjoy!

Nek Minnit – I’m covered in bruises
It’s been a very full few days – and full of mouths which like to bite (which pleases me no end, as I really like to be bitten!). Even more pleasing, some of those who have been biting me also like to be bitten, so my mouth has been busy as well …
Hylas took these photographs last night, so they’re very fresh – and these two boobie beauties were made by him. He is very good at those, isn’t he?

Sexing the Social Life
The morning after I returned from Melbourne, I woke up to an email from Amie Wee, asking if I wanted to come with her and get interviewed about sex blogging and social media for this show called The Social Life.
Me: jetlagged, bruised, and very tired. So why the hell not?
I’m very glad I took Amie, and Lewis Bostock, up on their invitation. I had a lovely time, and I think the interview came out fantastically. Having permission to wear m’Lady’s collar calmed and centred me, too.

On orgasms: “The two most important things that can happen to you in a mainstream movie are being killed and having an orgasm. Sometimes in facial close-ups it’s hard to tell one from the other.” (Roger Ebert)
Fiction: The Santa Who Tried to Fuck Christmas: “Only Olivia and Isaac knew that the insane inventor, Dr. Gedo, had created a sex robot to take Santa’s place this year. The sick inventor had a thing for children but due to a very fortunate electrical accident, he didn’t have any working equipment below the belt.” (Erotiterrorist)

Slippery and sticky and covered in lube
I’m a wanton, greedy, messy slut. Delightedly so! And while Apollo may not have known that the day we met, he certainly did just a few days later, once I’d thoroughly seduced him. It’s one of my charm points, you know. Me? Slutty. He’s fine with that. It works well for us.
Being as I am, and being polyamorous, I also share my wantonness around – another thing Apollo knew when we met (seducing a wonderful woman from Wellington the day after we met and the day before I took him home? Yeah, that might have given that away …). But! I do keep one thing – one single solitary thing out of my great big bag of fun-sexy-stuff-to-play-with – just for him. Yes, there is one thing I do with my husband that I don’t do with any other partner – one thing that I am really happy to keep just for us.

At Thresherman’s
I have a hypothesis about Melbourne, which is this: that it only rains on Saturdays. I was in Melbourne for 10 days – and on each Saturday, it absolutely bucketed down! But you wouldn’t know it from this lovely photo, taken inside Thresherman’s Bakehouse in Carlton. Minutes after Tethys and I arrived and sat down with the delectable Belladonna (the friend we were meeting there), the sun was blazing outside – for about the only time that day…

Safe from the burning star
Not that I was likely to get sunburned at the nudist beach so late in the day – but why take chances? I’d brought a parasol with me in carry-on luggage all the way from New Zealand, and Tethys was quite happy to take pictures of me enjoying its shade:
After splashing about in the water, it was nice to feel the warm air drying my skin.

Porn that Women Like: Why Does it Make Men So Uncomfortable?: “The sad thing here is that in this arrangement, everyone loses: Women can’t get the kind of porn they want from the mainstream (there are, of course, many excellent indie outfits who make great lady-centric films), an insidious kind of abstract homophobia is reinforced and, perhaps worst of all, many straight male viewers suffer unnecessary emotional and sexual stunting.” (J. Bryan Lowder / Slate)
