Northwest flash

I figure if I’m going to flash in a train station, I may as well a) make it a very pretty train station, and b) make it one that’s damned challenging to flash in!
When we were in Wellington last weekend, we were staying just around the corner from the Central Train Station, so Sunday morning early afternoon once we emerged from bed (it had been a good party and a rather late night prior) I thought it was a great opportunity for Hylas and I to head over and take a few pictures. It seemed reasonably quiet – although there were still a fair few people wandering past.
(It turns out that a few hours later it was jammed as people came into town for a soccer match. We timed it well.)
There are click-through on all of these pics:
Behind me in this image you can see some of the tracks and the trains. In the click, facing the other way, you can see out the doors into the sunshine and the roads.
People started to look at me a fair bit more strangely once I lay down on the floor on the station. But how often to do you get to lie on a giant compass?
And then it was a matter of waiting. And waiting. Hylas watching in one direction, and me watching in another. And waiting. Then, finally …
Flash!
Who? Me? *cough* Yep, totally. Northwest tits, that’s me ![]()
(Oh, and the station from the outside is gorgeous, too!)

I still have six more Scavenger Hunt shots to show from our Wellington trip!

Jack and Jill – Hylas loves the trains … but I love the train stations! And it was a great spot to get naughty in
Kazi – I certainly had fun!
Kate – *cough* I am rather shameless like that.
DDD – See a tank, climb on up!
Clive – Just a wee bit concerned – didn’t want to get kicked out before we got the photos
