Travelling to Melbourne to see m’Lady – the lovely Tethys – was both a terrifying and delicious exciting experience. Terrifying because neither of us really knew how it would be in person. Exciting because we both hoped it would be awesome!
As it turned out, it was even better than we hoped for – it has been absolutely amazing, and although I have missed both Apollo and Hylas dreadfully and am looking very much forward to being close with them again, I also know that leaving Tethys tomorrow is going to hurt. And neither of us know how long it’s going to be before we’re in close physical proximity again.
Still, I had fun on the plane coming over! It was a full flight with 120 passengers, and I did have two people sitting right next to me, and three more across the aisle. It seems that those little media centres are rather mesmerising, because no one was paying attention to me as I played around with my camera (which was totally their loss, and my gain)…
Well, I did start out taking photos out the window, really!
But when the opportunity presents itself, why not take it?
And tomorrow it’s back to Auckland…
