What happened to SapioSlut?
For those of you who regularly read SapioSlut, you will have noticed that their blog is currently unavailable. They’ve asked me to post this message:
Unfortunately SapioSlut has had to go offline. Our email was hacked in the small hours of Tuesday the 28th of June and we woke up to a very unpleasant surprise: we had been outed to all of our friends and family. That’s why we immediately locked down the blog.

Vintage beauty
I really do love my parasols – certainly there are plenty of pictures on this blog where I show them off. Just about every shop in Auckland that does, or might, carry them knows that I love parasols too – especially vintage ones - and keeps an eye out for me!
Passionata, which you can find on the North Shore of Auckland, has tempted me with a few pretties in the past (my lovely purple umbrella was purchased from them). The parasol in the photos above, though, was given to me by the owner as a gift, which blew my mind – it is very old and extremely fragile and extraordinarily beautiful. And some idiot wandering around the store had poked a hole through the wax-paper, so it was unsaleable.

Touch-a touch-a touch me
There are so many ways to touch me, and so many people who do. Do you know who is who?
1: Embrace me. We hug warmly, closely. Your arms are wrapped around my back, as mine are to yours. My right cheek presses to yours, our bellies are comfortably together, your chin rests in my shoulder. I am enfolded, cradled, embraced. So are you.

Hand print
One of my new lingerie purchases was a (rather elegant, if I do say so myself) g-string. A thong. Underwear that did not cover my rather epic arse. This is a big step for me – the last time I tried to wear one of these things, well over a decade ago, led to much uncomfortableness in the walking department, not to mention a less-than-positive reaction from my partner at the time (he was a douche. We know this now). Taking those things together, I preferred to stick to underwear that looked good, felt good, and didn’t leave my cheeks hanging in the wind.

Oh really?
A thoughtful guest-posting from Tethys.
Dee recently shared with me sexgeek‘s awesome posts “words fail” (part 1, part 2). In reading them, it occurred to me how fortunate i am to only now be entering my first relationship involving a core kink dynamic. Over the years i’ve done a fair bit of reading around and about kink; and though i’m surely no expert, i wouldn’t exactly classify myself a neophyte either. So when Dee and i first started talking about our relationship having an o/p dynamic, my first thought was not: “Okay, what’s the Right Way to do this?” but “Okay, how do other people do o/p relationships, and what sort of things will be part of the o/p relationship Dee and i want?”1 For example, Dee and i have discussed how the “Mistress/slave” dynamic doesn’t – for whatever reason – at all resonate with either of us, even though a person who is someone else’s property is indeed often termed as a ‘slave’. Dee calling me her ‘owner’, and me calling her my ‘property’, gets us both hot and flustered in ways that ‘Mistress’ and ‘slave’ don’t.

At the museum
The Auckland War Memorial Museum is a great place. There’s so much to see and do, and I always seem to discover something new each time I visit. I’ve probably gone a dozen times over the years, and it’s always impressive and good at making me think.
I learned when I visited last year that it is not as wheelchair-friendly as it thinks it is. While my brother enjoyed himself, I was totally wiped! Also, it’s remarkably hard to get into the volcanic eruption exhibit with said chair.

Bathroom lovers
It’s been wonderful getting to spend more time with Demeter again. We’ve been friends for the best part of a decade, lovers sporadically, and always very comfortable spending time together. She moved away for a while, but having her back in Auckland means getting to catch up more – going to movies, having lunch together, and even hefting furniture around the city (my muscles now ache from yesterday’s assist).

Disco!
Amie Wee (who has a new site you should totally check out) is an awesome photographer. So when she asked, I jumped at the chance to have pictures taken by her in a studio, with lights and stuff!
What did this lead to? A whole lot of (both of us) boogieing to disco, making silly expressions, as well as a bunch of rolling on mink rugs and playing with sex toys for the camera. What a shocker. I am usually so demure…
