All good adventures must, eventually, come to an end. And generally speaking, feet are quite sore by the end of an adventure!

Thus it was that after taking the train to Pukekohe, wandering around, enjoying the beauty of the Pukekohe train station, taking far too many photos on the train on the way back, and being naughty in the Britomart transport centre … thus it was that I really needed to soak my feet!

Handily, Britomart also has a gorgeous fountain. It’s actually also the top of a skylight (so when you’re down by the trains, there are gorgeous shimmery light effects). Clever design – not to mention lovely and cool!

*click for another shot of feet, water, and delectably chill metal*

It was delicious cool water, contrasting really well with the warmth of the summer afternoon.  I was really surprised that no one else was taking advantage of it. I certainly was!

Once I’d cooled off enough – and soaked my poor worn-out feet – it was time to let them dry in the hot summer sunshine. If you *click* you’ll see the massive grin I was sporting.

So alas, that it is for the Train Adventure series. Hylas and I had a blast – I hope you all enjoyed seeing what we got up to as well!

I love the contrast between the shiny metal, the shimmery water and your gorgeously fair skin. And all topped off with a cheeky grin!
