Ring a Ding Ding!

It’s funny how I hate having clamps on my nipples (well, 99 days out of 100 I do – day 100 is a different story), and yet I adore having the same kind of pinpoint pressure on my clit. So when TabuToys gave me the chance to try out the Spartacus Bell Clit Clamp, I was most pleased. Nipple clamps I wouldn’t give the time of day, but this was an entirely different prospect. Plus, I really like the Spartacus products I’ve tried before.

It wasn’t until I received the package and unpacked it that I realised, y’know, that’s a bell on the clamp. It makes bell-like noises. When this baby is clipped in place, and I move, I’m going to sound like a cat. Not inappropriate, if one calls their cunt a pussy, I guess :)

The clamp itself is most pleasant, with the ring for tightening it in place, and nice rubber covers on the tips so there’s no metal in bad places. I discovered that the covers can come off (handy for cleaning), but they don’t slip off when in use, and that’s quite important! Naturally, I tried this on my finger first, just to give me some idea of what my clit was in for – but it didn’t scare me off, and definitely made me want to try more.

The bell moves around at the base, so it hangs down and provides a pleasant weight no matter what angle the clamp is on. Its jingle is remarkably like the one on a cat collar, and this provides hours of entertainment when there’s a kitten in the house, as I discovered later on!

As for on the clit itself? Well, I really like this toy. *grin* I had a tendency to clip it on quite tightly, appreciating the sensation, but you have a lot of choice – whether your clit is large or small, extended or likes to hide, you’ll have no problems getting this clamp on, and getting it to stay put. You can also clip it so it’s hanging down over the labia, or up and out of the way.

I wouldn’t want to leave it on for too-extended a period of time, but I was quite happy keeping it on while *ahem* Adonis and I experimented with other toys. It had the effect, once removed, of making my clitoris incredibly sensitive, and that was great in an overwhelming way. Totally recommended as a way of heightening sensation.

Of course, clit clamps don’t need to go on the clit – we tried it out on the outer labia (not bad), inner labia (mine are quite small, and it tended to slip), nipple (briefly!), and my lower lip – just because. That slipped off really quickly, but was pretty fun to do.

Verdict: Yep, I like this one. Feels great, intrigues felines, and can stay in place during penetration as well.
