Trick with a Knife
When you lay it down along my spine, the feel of steel resting against my skin makes me want to shudder – desire and fear and trust all vie for my attention. Instead I remain very still, feeling the metal slowly warm to my temperature. Hearing you chuckle above me. Hearing the camera click as you mark the moment.

Competition winners!
Yes, the Vampire Flopper competition is closed, the entries read, the votes tallied, and the winners contacted. I had a bloody wonderful time over the past 10 days, and thoroughly enjoyed the various entries as they came in! I hope you all, in turn, enjoyed the various vamp-oriented posts as I pimped the competition to all and sundry.
Now that it’s closed, I am delighted to be able to announce the winners! But first, a reminder of each competition:

Geektastic
As you may have figured out by reading me for a while, I’m a geek. We are, in fact, a geek house, and it’s pretty obvious as soon as you walk in the door. But the lounge is the biggest indicator of geekdom. If the three bookcases filled with science-fiction didn’t give it away; the shelves of anime; or the posters … well, then the 60+ figurines should clinch it!
About half of the figurines we have are mine, and about half are Apollo’s (we have a lot of cross-over in interests though, and quite often give them to each other as gifts). We have figurines from TV shows, movies, comics, and anime, as well as the occasional ‘misc’. What we have today, though, are my vampire figurines. Do you recognise any of them?

Silly or serious?
Vampires are a hugely popular part of today’s culture, but they’ve been part of mythology and folklore for centuries. Both of which mean there’s a large body of work focused on the vampire – some silly and some serious. Guess which I pay more attention to?
So here, for your delectation, are some vampire-y pleasures. Enjoy, and make sure you’ve entered the competition (you’ve only got until Friday!).

Count Vampula

Bitten
I love to be bitten. Teeth sinking into my skin makes me weak at the knees, and frequently wetter than I thought it was possible.
All my lovers know this – and more than a few of my friends. Most are delighted to put teeth to flesh; some because it gets me hot, and some because it gets them hot. But everyone bites differently. It’s surprising the variation you get between folks. Allow me to provide examples.

COMPETITION: Vampire … flopper?
So here’s something I’ve never done before – held a competition on this blog! Two, in fact – so read on, email me, and perhaps you’ll win
Frilly
While I love my parasols, I don’t generally go in for frills, or for soft pastel colours – I prefer for them to be bold and brash and noticeable (much like me). That said, I have one exception! As you can see, this particular parasol is entirely different from my others. It’s lacy, frilly, pale pink, and smaller than the others. And I adore it.
