Parallel lines

In this occasional feature, I showcase my favourite pics of the week. If you like them, please visit the blogger in question and let them know – I certainly have.

People are more than their body parts – but part of HNT is choosing to focus on a small portion of your body and recognising it is a beautiful and treasured part of who you are. This week’s favourites are similar in that I was drawn to focus on one part of their body (although not necessarily the part that they were focusing on when they caught their image), and follow the lines. Sunshade

It’s the middle of summer – the sun beats down, the cicadas chirp, the cats sprawl in the shade. And I sit in the shade with them – my skin and summer are not mixy things, and I suffer burnination very swiftly. However, I’ve discovered ways to protect myself from the reddening rays: parasols.

Over the last few years, I’ve built up a lovely collection – and loved ones always know what to buy me for special occasions! This is my newest acquisition, a birthday gift from Adonis and Aphrodite.

Three years of curvaceousness!

Today marks the third anniversary of Curvaceous Dee – and it’s been a roller-coaster ride!

On the first of January 2006 I got started with a bang, definitely as I intended to go on. I don’t really go in for New Years resolutions, but I’d been planning to start my site for some time, and Jan 1st seemed a good day to go for it, so go for it I did. Initially Apollo was the only person who knew about my writing, but I quickly gathered readers, and gradually told friends and lovers about it as well.
