Usually I am proud of my marks. I take delight in the ache and purple of bruises; in the lines left by claws; in the dents left by teeth or leather or pain.

Usually I love my marks. They remind me of how they were received, and of the love intermingled with the hurt which created them. They also give me a solid connection to my submission.

I don’t submit easily. Ninety-nine percent of my life I am in control, the one others turn to, the one making decisions. Every day I run my own life and deal with my own problems and help friends with theirs. I have interdependent adoration and support with Apollo. I have loving friendship and support from my brother and my friends. But I still have to keep the control.

One of the great things about summer (yes, it’s summer down here in the Southern Hemisphere) is sarongs. I have a variety of colours and patterns – which go with my moods and my clothes – and they’re ever so handy!

After Apollo and I first moved in together, he promptly claimed one of my sarongs – in this heat it’s morning wear, post-work wear, and all-weekend wear! It was originally a gift from my (now ex) partner’s brother’s partner, so was happy to give it a more positive spin. Not to mention the yellow and green suit him, and I get to perve at his arse through the thin material…

Blue lagoon

I love having colourful knickers. Black knickers are great for going under black trousers – or looking extra-saucy – and white lacy froth is delightful under gauzy summer dresses. But colourful knickers are my favourites. When I pull open my underwear drawer each day the colours spill out, and it makes me smile every time.

Purple, hot pink, light blue, turquoise (why do I have no red? Hmm). This pair was my most recent underwear purchase, and while it’s been a few months they are still in high rotation! I’ve HNT’ed them once before – it’s fascinating the difference light can make to the colour.

Pump it pump it

I could never figure out the appeal of penis pumps (not having a penis of my own may have had something to do with that) but the concept of a clitoral pump definitely struck a chord.
